User interface buttons and LEDs
The pCOWeb features a push button and two indicator lights (Status LED and Ethernet LED).
LED indicator lights
Status LED This light displays the communication status of the pCOWeb card. During normal operation, the
LED flashes green, approximately three times a second. In special circumstances, it displays the operation of
service activities. This includes the restart of the internal program on the pCOWeb, and remote updating of the
program.

Selection Push
Button
Used to select factory parameters or user parameters for network
communication when starting the pCOWEB. NOTE: In normal operation,
pCOWeb reboots without disconnecting the power supply.
MAC Address MAC addresses required for setup.
Ethernet LED Ethernet LED light.
Status LED Status LED light.

Green flashing (3 times/sec) Regular pCO-pCOWeb
communication
When running demanding tasks
(sending a large number of
notifications), this may be steady
green for a few seconds.
Red flashing slowly (once
every two seconds)
pCO-pCOWeb communication not
established
Single red flash and then
flashing green
Single pCO-pCOWeb communication
error, one failed response from the
pCO, or it is attempting to write a
variable with an index higher than
207.
After five failed responses, the
Status LED starts flashing red until
communication resumes.
Steady red Rescue mode
Off, then green-red repeated
in rapid succession, then
green steady for 1-2 minutes
pCOWeb reboot phase
Green steady for 1-2
minutes
pCOWeb reboot phase Wait for the conclusion of the
reboot.
Red-Off slow (1 second - 1
second) repeated 3 times
The recognition of a button pressed
during reboot for selecting the factory
parameters.
Release the button to confirm.
Red-Off fast (3 times a
second) repeated 3 times
During reboot, this confirms the
selection of the factory parameters by
pressing the button.
Green-red repeated
alternating (once a second)
During a firmware update, this shows
the writing of block B to non-volatile
memory.
Do not interrupt the power supply.
