Mount the Motion Sensor 1. Choose a location for the motion sensor: – Check your local building and electrical codes before installing the motion sensor. – Mount the sensor within 25 feet of the Environmental Management System. – Do not aim the sensor at a reflective surface such as a mirror or window. – Avoid locations that are near sources of air flow (air ducts) or moisture. – Do not obstruct the sensor with large objects. – Mount the sensor on a flat surface. 2.
