Operations recommended for the end of life treatment
There are several steps to process the products at the end of life so as to recover components, materials or
energy : Reuse Æ Separation for special treament Æ Other dismantling Æ Shredding.
The components of the products that optimize the recycling performances are listed,
identified and located hereunder.
Disassembly Instructions:
1. Remove electronic and other equipment from the rack per the manufacturers’ instructions. ‘
2. Disassemble remaining rack components and place into the appropriate recycling waste
stream.
Rack Enclosures and Accessories product range consist of the following typical parts: (1) Powder-coated,
galvanized and plated steel components, (2) grounding wires, (3) miscellaneous small plastic and resin
components (e.g., bumpers) and (4) miscellaneous hardware (fasteners).
