Backup the Server Database
When you choose the Backup the server database task, the following page appears:
1. Enter a name for the task, and a password.
Note: The password is optional. If you set one, store it in a safe place. You will need
it when restoring the database. (You can restore the database without a passord. See
“Restore” on page 111, for information.)
3. The password cannot exceed the equivalent of 8 English alphanumeric characters.
4. The extension of the backup file is cbk (*.cbk).
2. Select the location to store the backup file, and fill in the fields. The default setting is the local
directory where KVM ACCESS was installed. Example: C:\KVM ACCESS\DataBaseBackup.
3. When you have filled in the information, click Next to open the Schedule page:
