4.7.3.1 Mounting and Connection
DC-cables rated 600V on 480V systems from MCCB-box to UPS.
a) Cable sizes refer to US National Electric Code.
All cables rated for 125% * nominal currents.
All DC cables rated 600V.
The tabled configurations are routed in conduits as follows:
DC: Battery 1:1 conduit with +, +, –, –, and equipment ground each.
Battery 2:1 conduit with +, +, –, –, and equipment ground each.
MCCB Power conductors and MCCB control wiring must be in separate conduits.
As regards recommended cable lugs and crimping tool, see section 4.1.6.

c) Alternate suppliers of battery cubicle must be Listed by Unterwriters Laboratory.
