Chapter 3. Installing the Base Station IDU
3.1 Planning, Site Preparation, and Installation
Before you begin installing the PacketMax equipment, make sure you properly plan
the overall system and individual sites.
Table 3-A shows a list of the tool kit that Aperto recommends.
Step 1. Determine and Prepare Locations
A. Make sure the base station is located such that it can communicate with subscrib-
ers.
