Connecting to a TV
NOTICE
• Turn off the power and unplug both units before setting up any connections.
• If your TV only has a cable antenna connection and no video inputs to connect your TV to the HT-180, you will need to purchase
an RF adapter from your dealer. See store for details.
• Please refer to the user manual of TV.
• All the terminals indicated on the rear panel of TV is only for reference.
• Connect the unit with an optional S-Video cable if the TV has an S-Video input. The quality of the picture is better than that
produced by using composite video cable.
• Connect the unit with video component output if the TV has Y, Pb and Pr input,you may obtain the optimum picture quality.
• If you connect the unit to a TV based on the figures above, please set “Downmix” to “Stereo” or “LT/RT”.
SETTING UP YOUR PLAYER
Step1:Connect the RCA cable (red & white) from audio outputs of the HT-180 to the TV Audio Inputs.
Step2:Connect the RCA cable (yellow) from the video output on the back of your player to the TV Video
Input. (For TVs that support S-video Input please follow the diagram to the right.)
GOOD BETTER
Connect the HT-180 with an optional S-Video cable, if
the TV has an S-Video input. Do not connect the yellow
video cable if using the S-Video cable.
