8 In Logic’s Track Mixer, set the inputs and outputs of Audio objects to the desired hardware I/O
channels, as shown below.

1 Open the Audio Midi Setup ultility, found
on an OS X Macintosh here: Applications >
Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup.
2 Set Default Input, Default Output, and
System Output to Apogee FireWire (xxxx)
The AMBus FireWire serial number is displayed
in parentheses.
3 In Audio Midi Setup, set Properties For to
Apogee FireWire (xxxx), set Clock Source to
Apogee FireWire (xxxx) Synch and Format
to 44100.0Hz.
4 Open iTunes, and play!
