Mac OS: Using ONE with GarageBand
1. Double-click on the GarageBand icon to
open the application.
2. Highlight New Project, then select Acoustic
Instrument to create an audio recording track
with no effects.
3. In the GarageBand menu bar, choose GarageBand
> Preferences, then click on the Audio/MIDI icon
4. Set Audio Output and Audio Input to ONE. Click
the red Close button to close the window.
5. To hear input, click on the Monitoring button in the
GarageBand track. If the button doesn’t appear,
choose Track > Show Monitoring for Real
Instrument Tracks.
CAUTION - if you engage Input while your speakers
are turned up you could experience feedback!
