SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Scalding Risk: Water temperatures above 125°F can cause severe burns, resulting in severe injury or death. Scalding risk can be reduced at 120°-125°F, but even 120°F water can cause scalding injuries. Children, disabled, and elderly are at highest risk of being scalded. Feel water before bathing or showering.
installation guidelines Delivery Temperature: Each valve is factory set for 120°F outlet temperature with a 140°F hot water inlet temperature. To ensure delivery of the desired mixed water temperature at the outlet, the installer must adjust and verify the temperature at the outlet by carefully following installation instructions. Flush the system before installation: All debris should be flushed from the plumbing system before installing Tank Max.
installation INSTRUCTIONS 1. Apply sealing tape to the hot and cold water connection threads on the water heater. Attach the union fitting to the hot water outlet of the water heater.
2. Attach the mixing valve to the union fitting as shown below.
3. Connect the tee to the cold water inlet of the water heater.
4. Apply sealing tape to the male threads of the mixing valve and tee. Check the installation orientation of both to ensure that the connection of the flexible hose can be allowed.
5. Connect the flexible hose from the mixing valve to the tee as shown below.
6. Connect the system’s cold water inlet supply hose to the tee and the hot water outlet supply hose to the mixing valve.

PRECAUCIONES DE SEGURIDAD Riesgo de Escaldados: Las temperaturas del agua más altas de 125ºF pueden causar quemaduras graves, resultando en daños graves o la muerte. Directrices de Instalación Temperatura del Suministro: Cada válvula esta ajustada en la fabrica a una temperatura de salida de 120ºF, con una temperatura de entrada del agua caliente de 140ºF. Para asegurar la llegada a su destino del agua mezclada a la temperatura deseada, el instalador debe ajustar y verificar la temperatura al destino siguiendo cuidadosamente a las instrucciones de instalación.
INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACION 1. Aplique cinta selladora a las roscas de las conexiones del agua caliente y fría. Conecte el acople de unión a la salida de agua caliente del calentador de agua.
2. Conecte la válvula mezcladora al acople de unión de la manera indicada abajo.
3. Conecte el acople T a la entrada de agua fría del calentador.
4. Aplique cinta selladora a las roscas machos de la válvula mezcladora y del T. Examine la orientación de ambos instalados para asegurar que permita la conexión de la manguera flexible.
5. Conecte la manguera flexible a la válvula mezcladora y al T de la manera indicada abajo.
6. Conecte el tubo de suministro de la entrada del agua fría al T, y el tubo de suministro de salida del agua caliente a la válvula mezcladora.
