Functions The use of automatic recording function. Start the car engine and the SmartVision will automatically start recording (automatic recording function should be set to on). Turn off the car engine and the SmartVision will automatically turn off. The recorded image segmentation is preserved on the TF card. When the TF card storage is full, the recorder will overwrite the earlier recorded image. [Note] 1. A recording time can be set in the menu in the range of 1, 3, 5 minutes or off. 2.
Collision sensing function (G-sensor) The SmartVision has a built-in collision sensor (G-sensor). In the event of a serious vehicle collision, the SmartVision will lock the incident and will record both 10 seconds before and after the image when the G-sensor is initiated. An icon will appear in the bottom left of the display showing a lock icon. These images will save as a special file and this file will not be overwritten. [Note] 1. These are stored in the DCIM folders under the subfolder "locked" 2.
U disk mode The recorded data from the SmartVision is stored on the TF card and can be accessed through a card reader on a computer or Tablet. There are 2 folders: DCIMA (front DVR) and DCIMB (rear camera). Each folder has 3 subfolders: locked, normal (video), photos. Data can be copied or moved to storage on your computer and the card can then be reformatted if desired. File playback With the Smart Vision powered on and in the standby mode short press the camera button until file mode.

The Green wire at the end of main harness needs to be tied into the vehicles reverse relay, if it cannot be located you can tie the Green wire to the camera harnesses Red wire coming out of the RCA feed. For faster trigger time, tying into the vehicles reverse relay is the suggested method. You will see a Red wire coming from each end of the camera harness. 3.

1. Guide the rear camera harness from the end of the main harness to the back of the vehicle removing trim pieces as needed. Note: Route the correct end to the back of the vehicle. You only need to tie the Red power line for rear camera to the other Red pigtail on the rear camera harness. The camera will be powered from the blue accessory line on main harness. 3. You may need to also attach the black ground wire for the rear camera yet may not be needed.
