Collision sensing function (G-sensor)
The SmartVision has a built-in collision sensor (G-sensor). In the event
of
a serious vehicle collision, the
Smart
Vision will lock the incident and
will record both 1 0
seconds before and after the image when the
G-sensor is initiated.
An
icon will appear in the bottom left
of
the display
showing a lock icon. These images will save as a special file
and
this file
will not
be
overwritten.

These are stored in the
DCIM
folders under the subfolder "locked"
2. The collision sensor (G-sensor) has a sensitivity adjustment and
can
be set in the settings menu.
Key lock function
The SmartVision has a key lock function, in order to retain the locked
image and will not
be
overwritten. In video mode, short pressing the
mode button will lock the recorder for
20
seconds, both
10 seconds
before and after the image.
Date
and
time setting
In standby state press the mode button
to
enter the
"Settings"
menu
option. Enter the date and time settings: .short pressing the up/down
buttons moves the cursor up and down.

In order to effectively record the date and time as evidence make sure the
correct date and time are set.
One
key
mute
function
When the SmartVision is powered
on
the icon
bar
on
the bottom has a
microphone icon. When the icon has a line through it, SmartVision is in
mute and when not it is recording audio.
Short pressing the up button
turns the audio
on
and off.

Settings are automatically saved after re-boot without resetting a mute
function.
