The first button from left: Power button.
Second button from left: Reversing camera button, Simply tap this button once and it
engages the backup camera for viewing.
Your back-up camera will auto engage will the vehicle is
put into reverse.
Third button from left: This is the
menu button for the DVR settings. Long Press for
three seconds
to enter and exit the settings menu. App-Tronics recommends not
changing these settings.
Fourth button from left: This is the enter button while
in the DVR settings. Short
pressing this button for one second toggles recording
on or off.
Fifth button from left: This is the navigational button while
in the DVR settings it
allows you to switch between options. Long pressing this button 5 seconds locks the
the current video from being overwriten
or deleted.
To view your recorded DVR Videos, first remove the
micro SD card and insert into your computer.
Open the file folder named DCIM, then the file folder
named
IOO_DCS. In this folder you will find all the
recorded videos, the DVR records video clips in 3
minutes intervals for easy viewing.
You can open the video clips with most video media players.
SmartNav 5 only comes with one 8GB Micro
SD card, which is added to the DVR
slot.
If you want to watch videos, listen to eBooks or listen to music you must
first upload it
to new micro SD card.
Insert the
SD card into the optional SD slot located on the lower left side of the
SmartNav
5.
You can also use this optional Micro SD slot to use another navigational software by
choosing Navi: B
in the "Drive Application': (Refer to how to use your Drive
application section
in this manual.
