Configuration incidents
The following problems may be encountered during setup:
➢ Radios are not detected; Radios number doesn’t match or the search symbol persists :
o The computer may take time (several minutes) to recognize the modules via USB ➔ wait or
restart the detection by choosing Refresh.
o An USB connection cable is loose ➔ check and re-connect then Refresh.
➢ Configuration could be “impossible”:
o The radios are not switched on.
o Some Radios are not compatible
and cannot be configured with
this software.
NOTE: The Radios version is displayed when
pressing the Central key
➢ During “advanced Configuration” it can be
impossible to modify the operation mode
for a radio:
o If the module has NEVER been part of
any Kit ➔Create a new kit using this
Radio so that it could be used in both
Talk or Listen mode.
➢ It may be impossible to create a new kit:
o The Radio can be factory configured
with a customer-specific encryption key
that prevent them to be integrated in a
“common” kit ➔ Contact your
distributor.
o Any other incident: Please contact your distributor.
