TouseWi-FiCalling,youneedtosetupFaceTimeandsigninwiththesameAppleIDonbothofyour
devices.
Note:Wi-FiCallingonotherdevicesisavailablewithsomecarriers,andcellularchargesmayapply.
AllowphonecallsonyouriPadfromyouriPhone
YoufirstsetupyouriPhone,andthensetupyouriPad.
1. OnyouriPhone,gotoSettings >Cellular.
2. IfyouriPhonehasDualSIM,choosealine(belowCellularPlans).
3. Doanyofthefollowing:
TapCallsonOtherDevices,turnonAllowCallsonOtherDevices,thenchooseyouriPadalong
withanyotherdevicesonwhichyouʼdliketomakeandreceivecalls.
ThisallowsiPadandotherdeviceswhereyouʼresignedinwiththesameAppleIDtomakeand
receivecallswhentheyʼrenearbyyouriPhoneandconnectedtoWi-Fi.
TapWi-FiCalling,thenturnonAddWi-FiCallingForOtherDevices.
ThisallowsiPadandotherdeviceswhereyouʼresignedinwiththesameAppleIDtomakeand
receivecallsevenwhenyouriPhoneisnʼtnearby.
4. OnyouriPad,setupFaceTimeandsigninwiththesameAppleIDthatyouuseonyouriPhone.
5. GotoSettings>FaceTime,thenturnonFaceTimeandCallsfromiPhone.Ifyouʼreasked,turnon
Wi-Ficalling.
AfteryousetupWi-FicallingonyouriPhoneandiPad,youcanmakeandreceivephonecallsoniPad.
Makeacall:TapaphonenumberinContacts,Calendar,FaceTime,Messages,Search,orSafari.
OropenFaceTime,enteracontactorphonenumber,thentap .
Receiveacall:Swipeortapthenotificationtoanswerorignorethecall.
Note:IfyouenableWi-FiCalling,emergencycallsmaybemadeoverWi-Fi,andyourdeviceʼslocation
informationmaybeusedforemergencycallstoaidresponseefforts,regardlessofwhetheryou
enableLocationServices.Somecarriersmayusetheaddressyouregisteredwiththecarrierwhen
signingupforWi-FiCallingasyourlocation.
