1. GotoSettings >General>Reset.
2. TapResetKeyboardDictionary.
Allcustomwordsandshortcutsaredeleted,andthekeyboarddictionaryreturnstoitsdefault
state.
AddorchangekeyboardsoniPad
OniPad,youcanturntypingfeatures,suchasspellchecking,onoroff;addkeyboardsforwritingin
differentlanguages;andchangethelayoutofyouronscreenorwirelesskeyboard.
Ifyouaddkeyboardsforotherlanguages,youcantypeintwolanguageswithouthavingtoswitch
betweenkeyboards.Yourkeyboardautomaticallyswitchesbetweenthetwolanguagesyouusemost
often.(Notavailableforalllanguages.)
Addorremoveakeyboardforanotherlanguage
1. GotoSettings >General>Keyboard.
2. TapKeyboards,thendoanyofthefollowing:
Addakeyboard:TapAddNewKeyboard,thenchooseakeyboardfromthelist.Repeattoadd
morekeyboards.
Removeakeyboard:TapEdit,tap nexttothekeyboardyouwanttoremove,tapDelete,
thentapDone.
Reorderyourkeyboardlist:TapEdit,drag nexttoakeyboardtoanewplaceinthelist,then
tapDone.
Ifyouaddakeyboardforadifferentlanguage,thecorrespondinglanguageisautomaticallyaddedto
thePreferredLanguageOrderlist.YoucanviewthislistandaddlanguagestoitdirectlyinSettings>
General>Language&Region.Youcanalsoreorderthelisttochangehowappsandwebsitesdisplay
text.
