Usingconnectors,ports,andbuttonsNeverforceaconnectorintoaportorapplyexcessive

connectorandportdonʼtjoinwithreasonableease,theyprobablydonʼtmatch.Checkfor
obstructionsandmakesurethattheconnectormatchestheportandthatyouhavepositionedthe
connectorcorrectlyinrelationtotheport.
LightningtoUSBCable(modelswithaLightningconnector)DiscolorationoftheLightningconnector
afterregularuseisnormal.Dirt,debris,andexposuretomoisturemaycausediscoloration.Ifyour
LightningcableorconnectorbecomewarmduringuseoryouriPadwonʼtchargeorsync,disconnect
itfromyourcomputerorpoweradapterandcleantheLightningconnectorwithasoft,dry,lint-free
cloth.DonotuseliquidsorcleaningproductswhencleaningtheLightningconnector.

contributetothefrayingorbreakingofcables.Theincludedcable,likeanyothermetalwireorcable,
issubjecttobecomingweakorbrittleifrepeatedlybentinthesamespot.Aimforgentlecurves
insteadofanglesinthecable.Regularlyinspectthecableandconnectorforanykinks,breaks,bends,
orotherdamage.Shouldyoufindanysuchdamage,discontinueuseofthecable.
