Before you begin, remove
the main battery.
Note: The battery desk
accessory is a general
indicator of the battery
charge. Use a voltmeter to
determine the actual charge.

battery is a NiCad battery
that contains toxic
materials. Send undamaged,
dead batteries to Apple for
recycling—do not discard
