Chapter 21 News 123
Tell News what you like. When viewing a story preview or full story, tap . News will
deliver similar stories in the future.
Share stories. Tap , then choose a sharing method such as Message, Mail, Twitter, or Facebook.
Open a story in Safari. Tap , then tap Open in Safari.

Favorites
Favorites contains your preferred channels and topics.

Browse a channel’s stories. Tap a channel to see a list of recent stories. In some cases you can
browse categories within a channel—view political stories or stories about food from the New
York Times, for example.
See related stories. Tap a topic to see a list of stories related to it.
Edit your favorites. Tap Edit, then tap to delete a channel or topic that you no longer wish to
see.
Search
News is great at recommending channels and topics, but you can seek out and add your own.

Search for channels and topics. Tap Search, then enter the name of a news source (Rolling Stone
or The Economist, for example) or a topic (comic books or claymation, for example). Tap to add
an item to your favorites.
Take a suggestion. Search oers suggestions based on trending topics of the day. Tap a
suggestion to see related topics and channels. Tap to add an item to your favorites.
