360° video features
• View and edit stereoscopic 360° video with simultaneous left-eye and right-eye views in
the 360° viewer. See

Improved HDR support
Use your Pro Display XDR as a professional HDR reference monitor. You can now also view
beautiful HDR content on a wide range of displays. The HDR image in the Final Cut Pro
viewer is tone mapped to fit the properties of an SDR display. See View HDR video in the

High-resolution video scopes reflect HDR brightness levels as you edit. See Waveform

GPU selection options

Masking improvements
View the color contents of a color or shape mask in the viewer. See Ways to view masks in

Select the range of color in a color mask with greater precision using HSL controls, which
