Change gradient colors in Final Cut Pro
You can use the gradient controls to create gradients in titles and generators.
Change the colors in a gradient
1. In Final Cut Pro, select a title or generator, then open the inspector.
2. Click the Gradient disclosure triangle to show the gradient editor.
3. To change the color of a color tag in the gradient editor, do one of the following:
Double-click a color tag.
The Colors window appears. Use the Colors window to set a color for the tag.
Click a color tag, then adjust the Red, Green, and Blue color channel sliders.
Click the down arrow next to the color well to display the pop-up color palette. When
you move the pointer over the color palette, the pointer becomes an eyedropper.
Click in the top area to select a color, or click in the bottom gradient to set the tag to
a grayscale value.
