44 Using iPod
To view a slideshow on a television:
1 Connect iPod to a television as shown above.
2 Turn on your television and set it to display from the input ports to which your iPod is
connected. See the documentation that came with your television for more
information.
3 On iPod, select any photo or album and press Play. Or select any full-screen photo and
press the Select button. To pause the music and the slideshow, press the Play/Pause
button.
If you selected a playlist in Photos > Slideshow Settings > Music, the playlist plays
automatically when you start the slideshow. The photos display on your television and
advance automatically according to settings in the Slideshow Settings menu. To skip to
the next or previous photo manually, press the Next/Fast-forward or Previous/Rewind
button.
Adjusting iPod Settings
You can change settings directly on iPod in the Settings menu.
Setting iPod to Shuffle Songs
You can set iPod to play songs or albums in random order.
To shuffle and begin playing all your songs:

Select Shuffle Songs from the iPod main menu.
iPod begins playing songs from your entire music library in random order, skipping
audiobooks.
