5 Using Motion in Slideshows
This chapter describes how to add visual interest using slide
transitions and object builds.
After you’ve created and organized your slides, you can animate text and objects to
add visual interest and emphasis.
 Transitions provide visual effects when you move from one slide to the next.
 Object builds animate elements on slides.
Adding Transitions Between Slides
Keynote provides a variety of transition styles.
You can control the duration of a transition, and you can specify when to start the
transition (automatically or on click). You set up slide transitions in the Slide Inspector.
Set how much time it
takes to complete the

begin playing.
