The end result is a single MIDI region that contains the merged performances from
each cycle pass.
You can also overdub a MIDI recording when not in Cycle mode.
To do this:
Control-click the Record button on the Transport bar, then choose Recording Settings 1
from the shortcut menu.
In the Recording pane, choose “Merge with selected regions” from the Overlapping 2
Recordings pop-up menu.
Repeat the recording steps from the last task, but without turning on Cycle mode.3
