Control Logic Pro using Apple Remote
You can use your Apple Remote to control Logic Pro from a distance. A short click offers
the following functions:

Note: AppleRemote is compatible with Apple products that have a built-in Infrared (IR)
receiver. FrontRow is not available while Logic Pro is open.
Control Logic Pro projects using Logic Remote
You can use Logic Remote to remotely control many workflow functions in Logic Pro—project
playback and navigation, recording, loading patches and plug-ins, mixing, and automation.
You can also use Touch Instruments in Logic Remote to play software instruments in Logic
Pro and create custom layouts for the key commands you use most often.
The Smart Help feature in Logic Remote lets you view detailed Help information about the
Logic Pro interface, commands, and menus, including step-by-step instructions for using
Logic Pro on your Mac while you are working, simply by placing the pointer over different
parts of the interface.
You can connect your iOS device to the macOS computer running Logic Pro either
wirelessly (using Wi-Fi) or with a Lightning cable.
