Ifyou’llbeawayfromyourMacProforonlyashorttime,putittosleep.Whenyour
MacProisinsleep,thedisplay’sscreenisdark.YoucanquicklywakeyourMacProfrom
sleepandbypassthestartupprocess.
To put your Mac Pro to sleep quickly, do one of the following:
 ChooseApple()>Sleepfromthemenubar.
 Pressthepowerbutton(®)onthefrontofyourMacPro.
 PresstheControlandEjectkeys,andthenclickSleepinthedialogthatappears.
 ChooseApple()>SystemPreferences,clickEnergySaver,andsetasleeptimer.
