Installing Additional Memory
Installing memory involves removing and replacing the battery. The following
procedure includes instructions for removing the battery, adding memory, and
replacing the battery.
Step 1: Remove the battery.
1 Shut down your MacBook. Disconnect the power adapter, Ethernet cable, and any
other cords connected to the MacBook to prevent damaging the computer.
