Rename a patch
1. Double-click the patch in the MainStage PatchList.
A field appears with the patch name, which is selected.
2. Enter a new name in the patch name field.
Create a patch from several patches in MainStage
You can create a patch by combining several existing patches. The new patch contains all
of the channel strips of the selected patches.
Create a patch from several existing patches
1. In the MainStage PatchList, select the patches you want to use to create the
new patch.
2. Choose Create Patch from Selected Patches from the Action pop-up menu at the
upper-right corner of the PatchList.
The new combined patch appears in the PatchList, labeled “Untitled Patch.
3. Double-click the name, then type a name for the combined patch.
Note: Creating a patch with more than three channel strips can affect performance,
particularly if the channel strips use a large number of plug-ins or processor-intensive
plug-ins.
Work with patch settings
Overview of the MainStage Patch Settings Inspector
You can select patch settings in the PatchLibrary and edit settings for individual patches in
the Patch Settings Inspector, which appears below the workspace when a patch is selected
in the Patch List. Patch settings you can edit include:
Setting the time signature for patches
Setting the tempo to change when you select a patch
Setting program change and bank numbers
Changing patch icons
