Solo a channel strip
• In MainStage, click the channel strip’s Solo button.
The Solo button turns yellow. The Mute buttons of all unsoloed channel strips flash blue,
with the exception of external MIDI channel strips.
Solo a channel strip when another channel strip is already soloed
• In MainStage, option-click an unsoloed channel strip.
This action solos the selected channel strip and unsolos any other channel strip.
Use multiple instrument outputs in MainStage
MainStage supports multiple output versions of Sampler, Ultrabeat, and some Audio Units
instruments. You can insert multi output instruments and use them to route different
outputs to different physical outputs, to apply different plug-ins or processing to different
outputs, or for other uses.
If an instrument supports multiple outputs, one or more multi output versions are available
in the Instrument Plug-in pop-up menu for the instrument.
