Turn all articulations on or off in MainStage
You can turn on or off all articulations using the Articulation MIDI Remote command,
available either in the Action menu or via a key command.
Turn articulations on or off
In MainStage, do one of the following:
Press the key command for Articulation MIDI Remote.
Note: First, you need to assign Articulation MIDI Remote to a key command in the Key
Command Editor; see Edit keyboard shortcuts in MainStage for more information.
In the Action menu, choose Articulation MIDI Remote.
If you have added the Articulation MIDI Remote button to the toolbar, click the button.
For more information on adding buttons to the toolbar, see Customize the toolbar in
MainStage.
Edit screencontrol parameters
Overview of the Screen Control Inspector in MainStage
In Layout mode, you edit basic screen control parameters that are constant throughout the
entire concert. The Screen Control Inspector is where you edit screen control parameters
for a specific patch or set. In the Screen Control Inspector you can:
Replace parameter labels in MainStage
Choose custom colors for screencontrols in MainStage
Change the appearance of grouped screencontrols
Set the behavior of screen controls
Override concert- and set-level mappings in MainStage
The Screen Control Inspector consists of three tabs:
Attributes: You can change the behavior and appearance of screen controls.
Mapping: You can see and edit the mappings of screen controls to hardware or software
parameters. For more information on mapping screen controls, see Overview of
mapping MainStage screen controls.
Unmapped: If a screen control is unmapped, you can map it to a hardware or software
parameter. For more information on mapping screen controls, see Overview of mapping
MainStage screen controls.
Open the Screen Control Inspector
1. In MainStage, enter Edit mode, either by clicking the Edit button on the toolbar,
choosing Edit from the View menu, or via a key command.
2. Choose Show Inspectors from the View menu. If the Inspector is already showing, you
can skip this step.
3. Select a screen control in the Workspace.
