2. In the Rendering section of the Project Properties Inspector, drag the 3D Object
Environment slider to the right to increase the environment intensity or to the left to
decrease the environment intensity.
The 3D Object Environment parameter is a global control—all 3D objects within the
Motion project are uniformly affected. Other layers in the project are not affected.
You can also access the 3D Object Environment parameter in the 3D Object Inspector.
For detailed information on all Properties Inspector parameters, see Properties Inspector
controls in Motion and Project Properties Inspector controls in Motion.
Modify a 3D objects inherent size and orientation in Motion
Although you cannot edit 3D objects in Motion, you can use controls in the 3D Object
Inspector to change an object’s inherent size and X, Y, or Z orientation. Its a good practice
to adjust these parameters before you animate a 3D object or when:
You import a 3D object thats not modeled to scale, or you need to adjust an objects
inherent size to better suit your project
You import a 3D object saved from a 3D modeling app that doesn’t share Motion’s 3D
coordinate system, resulting in the object being rotated in the wrong direction
