Take Apart CD-ROM or DVD-ROM Drive - 8
CD-ROM or
DVD-ROM Drive
Before you begin:
• Remove top housing
• Remove CD-ROM or DVD-
ROM EMI shield
Note:
Special cable routing
instructions for Master/
Slave IDE configurations can
be found at the end of this
section.
Replacement Note:
Be
sure the EMI shield doesn’t
interfere with the CD-ROM
drive opening.
