Installation Procedures:
Windows PC Users:
1. Insert the Dual Igniter CardBus Card into the PC Card slot on your computer, until
it is firmly seated.
2. When Dual Igniter 400 card is inserted into the PC card slot, the Windows Wizard
will recognize that new hardware has been added and it will launch the Add New
Hardware Wizard. This wizard searches for new drivers for your card. Click Next.
3. In the next dialog, make sure the Search for the best driver for your device op-
tion is selected. Click Next.
4. Windows will search for new drivers. Be sure to deactivate all the check boxes.
Click Next.
5. The Add New Hardware Wizard defaults to the updated drive. Click Next.
6. Click Next again in the dialog box that follows so Windows can install the best
driver for the card.
Note: If Windows cannot locate the software on your hard drive, it will ask you to
insert the Windows 98SE CD-ROM. Insert the Windows 98SE CD and type the
appropriate letter for the CD-ROM drive in the Copy files from box.
7. Windows finishes installing software for your card, Click Finish.
8. Congratulations, you are ready to use your Dual Igniter 400 CardBus Card.
Ulead VideoStudio Software Installation:
1. Insert the Apricorns Dual Igniter 400 installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Click on the Ulead VideoStudio folder, click on Setup.exe.
3. Follow the onscreen directions to complete installion. Complete user instructions
for Ulead VideoStudio are provided on the Apricorns Dual Igniter 400 installation
CD in the Document folder.
