The Digital Video Recorder (DVR) has changed the way you watch TV, putting you in
complete control of when and how you watch the programs you love. Unfortunately
there is never enough space on the DVR hard drive to record everything you want to
watch, especially if you are recording it in high denition. When the hard drive is full you
must delete shows to free up space for the new programs you want to watch.
The DVR Expander solves the storage space problem by allowing you to instantly add up to
562 hours of standard TV or 125 hours of high denition programming with the DVR Expander
1 Terabye. Great for recording standard or high-denition programming, Apricorn’s DVR
Expander is easy to use. Simply connect to the active eSATA or USB 2.0 port on your DVR,
follow the prompts and your DVR capacity is instantly increased.
Dual USB 2.0 / eSATA connection works with a variety of DVRs
The DVR Expander includes both an eSATA and USB 2.0 connection, enabling the unit to connect
to DVRs with an active eSATA or USB port*, including Scientic Atlanta 8300 Series and 8300 HD
DVR (eSATA), provided by the many of major cable companies throughout North America and
Dish Network ViP HD DVR (USB 2.0).
The DVR Expander's robust design features a solid aluminum enclosure, great for heat dissipation, even
in cramped entertainment centers. The DVR Expander’s versatile, stackable design enables the DVR
Expanderr to be used in both vertical or horizontal congurations.
DVR Expander package includes: 500GB or 1TB DVR Expander, eSATA cable, USB 2.0 cable, AC power
adapter and Quick Start Guide.
*One Terabyte (TB) = one trillion bytes; accessible capacity will be less and actual capacity depends on the operating environment and
