4.2. ENGINE IE 50
4.2.1. REMOVING THE ENGINE IE 50
• To remove the crankcase, first remove the lower
shield, the battery, the fuel tank, the throttle body,
keep it connected to the throttle cable and drain the
cooling system.
• Using a belt and an A-frame, lift the vehicle rear end.
• Loosen and remove the shock absorber upper screw.
• Loosen and remove the two cable guide screws.
• Loosen and remove the two screws.
• Slide out the rear brake caliper, keep it connected to
the fluid line.
