INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Check the vehicle before each ride to ensure
safe riding. See the chart at the side (PRE-
RIDE CHECKS CHART). Failure to do so
may lead to severe injury or vehicle
damage.
If you are not clear about the operation of
the vehicle controls or believe that any
vehicle components might be
malfunctioning, do not hesitate to contact
an aprilia Official Dealer.
A quick check is done in no time, but does
wonders for your safety.

Check for proper operation. Check brake lever free play and brake fluid
level. Check for leaks and brake pad wear. Top up brake fluid level, if
necessary.
Make sure they move smoothly.
Lubricate the joints, if necessary.
Ensure that it turns smoothly. The throttle should open and close fully
at all positions of the steering. Adjust and/or lubricate, if necessary.
Check and top up as required.
Check tyre surface, inflation pressures. Check for wear or damage.
Steering should rotate smoothly and evenly.
There should be no play or looseness.
The stand should operate smoothly and snap back in the rest position.
Lubricate joints and connections, if necessary.
Make sure the fasteners are properly tightened. Adjust or tighten as
required.
Check fuel level and refuel if low. Check for leaks or blockages in the fuel
system. Make sure the filler cap is tightened securely.
Coolant level in the expansion tank must be between the “MIN” and
“MAX” marks.
Check for proper operation.
Check sound and visual devices for proper operation. Change bulbs or
fix a failure, if necessary.
Check for proper operation.
