REMOVING THE REAR PART OF THE FAIRING

Remove the plastic parts of the backrest, see (RE-

MOVING THE PLASTIC PARTS OF THE

BACKREST).

Remove the rear mudguard, see (REMOVING THE

REAR MUDGUARD).

Remove the rear light assembly, see (REMOVING

THE COMPLETE SIDE PANELS).

Unscrew and remove the 3 screws (1).

Unscrew and remove the 3 screws (2) making sure to

keep the relevant washers and bushings.

Remove the rear part of the fairing by sliding it back-

wards (3).

REMOVING THE BOTTOM COVERS

Place the motorcycle on the center stand.

Proceed with care. Do not damage the tabs and/or

corresponding tab slots. Handle painted parts

carefully, without scraping or damaging them.

Unscrew and remove the two screws (4).

Remove the bottom cover (5).

CAUTION

Still holding the rear mudguard, disconnect the license

plate light bulb (5), slide out the battery bleeder pipe

(6) from its guide clip (7).

Remove the rear mudguard (4).
