BATTERY
For safety regulations and general information
concerning the battery, see (BATTERY).
For other information, see (ELECTROLYTE LEVEL
CHECK),(BATTERY RECHARGE) and (BATTERY
PROLONGED INACTIVITY).
ACTIVATING THE BATTERY
Read through paragraph (BATTERY).
Remove the battery cover, see (BATTERY
COVER REMOVAL).
Remove the battery, see (BATTERY REMOVAL).
Check the battery electrolyte level, see (BATTERY
ELECTROLYTE LEVEL CHECK).
Recharge the battery, see (BATTERY RE-
CHARGE).
RETURN UNDER GUARANTEE
Read through paragraph (BATTERY).
The guarantee is considered no longer valid if the
battery shows signs of:
Damage (casing dented, poles bent, etc.).
Diffuse formation of sulphate (incorrect activation
and/or use of the battery).
Insufficient level of electrolytic liquid (to avoid
leakage during transportation it is sufficient to
close the vent with the special cap).
Missing elements (caps, etc.).
