Rotate the cold start lever 0 (17) up-
wards after the engine has warmed up.
aCAUTION
If the writing (), appears, on the left
display (multifunction) during the nor-
mal operation of the engine, this means
that the electronic unit has detected an
anomaly.
In many cases, the engine keeps run-
ning with reduced performance levels;
immediately contact an APRILIA Official
Dealer.
STARTING WITH COLD ENGINE
If the room temperature is low (near to or
lower than 0°C/32°F), it may be difficult to
start the vehicle at the first attempt.
In this case:
Rotate the cold start lever 0 (17) down-
wards.
Insist for at least ten seconds with the
start push button "+" (18) pressed and
at the same time moderately rotate the
throttle grip (19).
If the engine starts:
Release the start push button + (18)
and the throttle grip (19).
Rotate the cold start lever 0 (17) up-
wards.
If the idling is unstable, twist the throttle
grip (19) slightly and frequently.
If the engine does not start:
Wait a few seconds and repeat the cold
START PROCEDURE.
