FITTING THE FRONT WHEEL

Before carrying out any maintenance operation or

inspection of the front wheel, if possible hoist the

vehicle onto a solid and level surface with suitable

equipment.

When disassembling and reassembling the front

wheel, take extra care not to damage the brake

lines, discs or pads.

IMPORTANT To fit the front wheel, you may require a

helper.

• Place a stand under the vehicle

• To fit the front wheel, remove the brake lever (1) by

unscrewing TEF M 8x30 (2) and the washers.

••

• Fit the wheel and the mileage counter drive gear (3)

positioning the tongue (A) in the hub housing.

Make sure the transmission is properly fitted into

the wheel hub.

• Between the hub and fork, place a washer (4), then

secure the wheel pin M 12 (5).

Tightening torque 5: 25.81 ftlb (35 Nm).

Make sure the mileage counter cable is fitted prop-

erly, as shown in the figure.
