Setting the Radio Receiver
LX299206—UN—26APR17
IMPORTANT: The radio receiver must be tuned to
country-specic wave bands (tuner bands).
Unless the wave bands (tuner bands) are set
correctly, it may not be possible to receive any
radio stations.
Make the setting:
1. Turn ignition on without starting the engine.
2. Switch radio off.
3. Hold station buttons (1) and (3) pressed down
simultaneously.
4. Switch on the radio; display shows “SETUP”.
5. Release station buttons (1) and (3).
6. Press the “Menu” key several times until the current
wave band is displayed. (e.g. “EUROPE”, “NAFTA”,
“SOTHAMRC”, “MESTAFRC”, “APAC”, “TAIWAN”,
“PHILIPIN” or “AUSTRLNZ”).
7. The multi-function rocker switch (arrow at far right)
can be used to change through the various wave
bands. Select the wave band appropriate to the
country in which the radio is to be operated (see
table).
8. After the correct wave band has been selected, do
not make further settings in this menu; instead,
switch off the radio to save the changed setting.

Problem: Solution
The set-up menu does not appear on the display. Normal radio mode is
active.
Make sure that the two buttons are pressed at the same time while the
radio is switched on.
The desired country does not appear in the set-up menu.
This is normal. Only 8 settings appear on the display; each stands for a
number of countries. Refer to the table before making the correct
selection.
The setting that has been made is not stored.
Radios connected to the CommandCenter by CAN Bus receive the
settings automatically via the relevant software. In this case, the setting
must be made at the CommandCenter.
The radio display does not show anything.
Check whether the radio is ready to operate. Check if the “DIM function”
is set to DIM ON.
