Intended Use
The radio is designed for operation in a vehicle with a
12-volt on-board system voltage and installation in a 1-
DIN slot.

Basic Setting for Radio Reception
The radio receiver must be tuned to country-specic
wave bands (tuner bands). If no radio stations are
available, tuner might not be set to correct region. See
Tuner Band Region in Dealer Settings Touch Screen
Radio section of this Operators Manual.

Functions Prohibited While Machine in
Motion
When operating above a xed speed, 11 km/h (6.8
mph):
Keyboard—Character input (Example: media search,
contact search) is not allowed through onscreen
interface.
Keypad—Phone number input is not allowed through
HMI. If a call is active, then phone number input is
allowed.
Keypad—Number input (Direct Tune station in SXM)
is not allowed through User Interface.
Phone pairing is not allowed.
Video playback via MP4/USB is locked out.

Turn Radio On-Off
Turn radio on-off using power button shown in Controls
and Instruments in Touch Screen Radio section of this
Operators Manual. Press to turn on radio. Press and
hold to turn off radio.
When radio is turned off while vehicle has power, clock
displays on radio.
When turning off radio using vehicle ignition, radio
automatically turns on when ignition is turned on.
Retained Accessory Power Mode
When key is off and radio power button is pressed, radio
AM/FM tuner can be locally powered for a timed
duration.
Functions not available in this mode, include but are not
limited to:
Subwoofer
Apple CarPlay®
USB Playback
USB Charging
Microphone

I—Time: Displays time provided by CAN bus or set on
radio.
J—Currently Playing: Displays source of what is
playing or paused. If selected, expands to display
additional information for what is playing or paused.
Select again to minimize.

Adjust and Mute Volume
Increase/Decrease Volume
Adjust volume using volume knob shown in Controls
and Instruments in Touch Screen Radio section of this
Operator’s Manual. Turn knob clockwise to increase or
counterclockwise to decrease volume. Adjustment
range is 0 to 38.
Mute Volume
Mute volume using power/mute button shown in
Controls and Instruments in Touch Screen Radio
