Alternative Frequency (AF)
Allows receiver to retune to the same station on a
different frequency when the rst signal becomes too
weak. Slide radio button (A) right to enable or left to
disable AF feature. Slide bar becomes yellow when
enabled. Indicator (K) also displays on FM page when
enabled.
Regionalisation (REG)
Some broadcasters divide their programming into
region-specic content. When REG is enabled, radio
system will not switch to alternative frequencies
transmitting different programming. Slide radio button
(B) right to enable or left to disable REG feature. Slide
bar becomes yellow when enabled. Indicator (M) also
displays on FM page when enabled.
Trafc Announcements (TA)
Interrupts other outputs for trafc announcements when
enabled. Slide radio button (C) right to enable or left to
disable TA feature. Slide bar becomes yellow when
enabled. Indicator (L) also displays on FM page when
enabled. To adjust volume for trafc announcements,
see Trafc Announcement Volume (Global Including
Europe) in Settings-Sound – Touch Screen Radio
section of this Operator’s Manual.
Emergency Announcements
Interrupts other outputs for emergency announcements
in event of natural disasters or other major events
causing damage or distress. Slide radio button (D) right
to enable or left to disable. Slide bar becomes yellow
when enabled.
Genre Scan (PTY)
Choose which genres display in station list.
1. Select Genre Scan (PTY) (E) to display list of genres.

2. Select desired genres:
a. Select All - select All Genres On/Off (F) to select
all or deselect all genres in list. Displays Off
when all are selected and On when all are not
selected.
b. Individual Selection - Select check box (G) for
each genre to be included (box and check mark
are highlighted). Select check box again to
deselect (box and check mark are grayed out).
To move up and down through list, turn scroll knob or
drag scroll bar (H).
To go to previous page, select FM Settings (I).
To return to FM main page, select X (J).
