called.
4. Select desired contact name. Contact information
page displays.
5. Favorite, call, or text desired number for contact. For
more information, see Contact Information Page later
in this feature.
Contact Information Page
Contact information page includes the following
information. Some information only displays if it has
been entered on connected device.

Favorite Icon (Q) Select to add to favorites. Icon
becomes yellow when added. Select again to remove
from favorites.
Cellular Icon (R) Indicates contact number is for a
cellular phone. Cannot edit from radio.
Home Icon (S) Indicates contact number is for a
home phone. Cannot edit from radio.
Work Icon (T) Indicates contact number is for a work
phone. Cannot edit from radio.
Phone Number (U) Displays phone number for
contact entry. Cannot edit from radio. Select to call
displayed number.
Contact Name (V) Displays name entered for
contact. Cannot edit from radio.
Contact Address (W) Displays address entered for
contact. Cannot edit from radio. Select to display
window with entire address if not displayed.
Text Icon (Z) Select to send a text from a list of
standard messages. For more information, see Send
Standard Text in this Operators Manual section.
To go to Phonebook main page, select Back (X) or X
(Y).

Messages Page
NOTE: Access must be allowed to radio from device to
utilize feature.

Use Messages tab (A) to access received text
messages.
Contact name or number (B) and date received (E)
display for each message. Text icons, unread (C) and
read (D), also display.
To call contact, select phone icon (F).
To move up and down through list, turn scroll knob or
drag scroll bar (G).
Access Message/Reply
1. Select contact name/number for desired message.

2. Select one of four responses:
a. To play audio of the message, select Play (H).
To discontinue audio, select Stop while
message is playing.
b. To view message text, select View (I). Message
displays with the other three response options.
c. To send a standard text to sender, select Reply
(J). For more information, see Send Standard

d. To go back to Messages list, select Cancel (K).
