GETTING STARTED
Simply sprinkle the grit over the worms‘ food layer during
once-a-week feeding. A commonly followed procedure
with composting worms is to provide 2 tablespoons of grit
weekly per 500 worms. Using Worm Nerd’s Premium
Worm Grit in your composting worm bins also helps
achieve and maintain correct alkaline pH for worms’
environment. The pH level should be slightly acidic and
maintained between 6.0 – 7.0.
