Using this handbook This handbook has been designed to give you all the information you need to install, connect, set-up and use the Arcam DiVA DT91. The remote control handset supplied with the equipment is also described. It may be that the DT91 has been installed and set-up as part of your Hi-Fi installation by a qualified Arcam dealer.
Installation Positioning the unit n n n n n Place the DT91 on a level, firm, surface, avoiding direct sunlight and sources of heat or damp. Avoid placing the DT91 on top of a power amplifier or other source of heat. The DT91 may run warm during normal operation, so avoid placing the DT91 in an enclosed space such as a bookcase or closed cabinet unless there is good ventilation.
Setting up the aerial If the transmission signal is strong in your area then the supplied indoor aerial may be sufficient (it should be hung on a wall with both wires fully stretched out vertically). An external aerial is recommended in order to receive the highest number of services.
