Skin contact Keep away from open cuts and irritated skin. Wash off with soap and water. Consult a physician if
symptoms occur.
Eye contact May cause eye irritation. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician if symptoms occur.
Inhalation In case of difficulty breathing, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
If unconscious, place in recovery position and get medical attention immediately. Maintain an open
airway. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband. Consult a physician if
symptoms occur.
Ingestion Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water and consult a
physician if symptoms occur.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
5.1 Suitable (and unsuitable) extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding
environment.

Special hazards Not considered flammable but escaping ammonia gas can burn in the range of 16-25% in air.
Under fire conditions hazardous fumes will be present.

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Use personal protective equipment as
required. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not rinse/spill into ground, storm sewers or bodies of water. In case of large spills dike spill to prevent runoff into
sewer and drains.

Soak up with inert absorbent material and dispose. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal in accordance to
local/national regulations.
