Introducing your cooktop Now that your new cooktop is installed and ready to use, you will want to know everything about it to be sure of excellent results right from the start. EN This booklet will introduce you to the features and special talents of your cooktop/hob. Cooktop safety Your safety is important to us This guide contains safety statements under warning symbols. Please pay special attention to these symbols and follow instructions. This symbol alerts you to hazards such as fire, electrical shock, or other injuries. Important safety instructions General Have your cooktop installed and properly grounded by a qualified installer in accordance with the installation instructions.
Operational Do not use water on grease fires. A violent steam explosion may result. Do not store or use flammable materials, gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of the cooktop, or any other appliance. EN Do not operate the burner without all burner parts in place. Always keep flammable wall coverings, curtains or drapes a safe distance from your cooktop. For safety reasons the burner flame size should be adjusted so it does not extend beyond the edge of the cookware.
Using your cooktop This section tells you how to successfully operate your cooktop Choose the control knob for the burner you want to use. Press down and turn the knob counterclockwise to the HI symbol (see below). All the igniters will spark until the gas ignites on the selected burner. 0'' 0'' )* )* -0 Burner indicator -0 GC912 Burner indicator GC913 Adjusting the flame The flame adjusts anywhere between the HI and LO symbols. Do not regulate the flame between HI and OFF.
Auto re-ignition Auto re-ignition is for your convenience and safety. The auto re-ignition feature causes the igniters to spark automatically and the burner to re-light if a flame blows out or if the flame is severely distorted by a draft or a cooktop ventilation system. EN Constant sparking The igniters must be kept clean and dry to work correctly. Dirty or wet igniters could cause constant sparking, even if a flame is present. (See Troubleshooting guide).
Cookware WARNING! Never use plastic or aluminum foil dishes on the burners. Using a wok Use your wok only on the middle burner. Do not use a wok larger than 18” (45 cm). WARNING! Hot Surface Hazard Do not touch the grates while they are hot. Failure to do so could result in burns and scalds. When using any wok, make sure it does not push other pots and pans aside. This could make them unstable, or deflect heat onto nearby walls or the countertop.
Using saucepans Do not let large saucepans or frying pans overlap the countertop as this can deflect heat and damage the countertop surface. EN Hold the handle of the saucepan to prevent movement of cookware when stirring. Saucepans should have a thick flat base. Food in a saucepan with an uneven base will take longer to cook. Extremely heavy saucepans may bend the grate or deflect the flame. Match the bottom of your saucepans with the cooking zone and be sure that they are stable.
Care and cleaning Use soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth to clean the cooktop, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Clean the cooktop regularly, before spills become burnt on. Soaking stubborn stains under the soapy cloth for a few minutes will help make them easier to remove. Grates are dishwasher safe. If stubborn soil remains, follow the recommended cleaning methods outlined below. WARNING! Hot Surface Hazard Before cleaning, be certain the burners are turned off and the whole cooktop is cool.

Care and cleaning Replacing the grates The wok grate goes in the center over the wok burner. The other two grates are interchangeable. Rounded corners Correct grate orientation Reassembling the brass wok burner (GC913 only) Each part of the brass burner has locating pins to help you to assemble it correctly after cleaning. Incorrect assembly can cause dangerous irregular flames and ignition problems. Refer to this diagram for the correct order of assembly.
Frequently asked questions Q What is the best way to clean stainless steel? A See ‘Care and cleaning’ instructions. EN Q How do I clean the grates and burners? A Grates can be washed in the dishwasher or alternatively with a cream cleaner and a nylon scourer. Burners are best washed in warm water (see ‘Care and cleaning’ instructions). Q All the burners spark at once when I go to light one, is this ok? A Yes, they are designed to do this.
Troubleshooting Problem Possible solutions My cooktop does not light. Check it is plugged in and there is power to the wall socket. The gas igniters may be dirty. These can be easily cleaned with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. The burner parts may not be located properly. Check the assembly and make sure the burner cap is sitting flat. Check the gas supply valve is turned on and the supply to the house is working. Gas should be heard when you turn a burner on.
Limited warranty When you purchase any new Fisher & Paykel whiteware Product for personal or consumer use you automatically receive a one year Limited Warranty covering parts and labor for servicing within the 48 mainland United States, Hawaii, Washington D.C and Canada. In Alaska the Limited Warranty is the same except that you must pay to ship the Product to the service shop or the service technician’s travel to your home.

La cocción de alimentos en un recipiente de fondo disparejo tomará más tiempo. Las cacerolas muy pesadas pueden doblar la rejilla o desviar la flama.
Cuidado y limpieza Aplique agua jabonosa con una esponja o trapo suave para limpiar la parrilla y seque bien. Limpie la parrilla regularmente antes de que los residuos se quemen. El empapar las manchas difíciles con el trapo jabonoso por unos cuantos minutos ayudará a eliminarlas con más facilidad. Las rejillas de los quemadores pueden meterse a la máquina lavavajillas. Nettoyer la table de cuisson régulièrement avant que les déversements ne deviennent brûlés. Le fait de tremper les taches tenaces sous un linge savonneux facilitera leur disparition. Les grils peuvent être lavés au lave-vaisselle. Si les taches tenaces persistent, appliquer les méthodes de nettoyage recommandées ci-dessous.

Il est possible que les allumeurs de gaz soient sales. Ils se nettoient facilement avec une brosse à dent et de l’alcool à friction. Il est possible que les pièces du brûleur ne soient pas correctement en place. Vérifier le montage et vérifier que le rond du brûleur repose bien à plat.

Important Safety Information EN Storing Food and Drinks Never store volatile or flammable materials in your refrigerator or freezer as they may explode. Never freeze liquids in glass containers. Liquid expands during freezing, which may cause the container to explode. Never freeze carbonated drinks. They may explode. Do not consume food if it is too cold. Food removed from the freezer compartment may be cold enough to cause damage when brought into contact with bare skin e.g. frozen ice cubes.
Installation - Four Essential Requirements Please follow the steps for installation to ensure your appliance operates correctly. 1. Power The appliance must be installed so the plug is accessible. To ensure that the appliance is not accidentally switched off, connect your refrigerator or freezer to its own power point.
Installation - Four Essential Requirements EN 4. Ventilation and Installation To ensure adequate ventilation for your refrigerator or freezer see recommended cabinetry dimensions below. The appliance is intended to be placed against a wall with a free distance not exceeding 3” (75mm). If building the appliance into a cupboard, follow installation instructions provided with the integration kits.
Installation - Four Essential Requirements Before Placing Food in the Fresh Food or Freezer Compartments Remove all packaging. Ensure that all transit clips are removed from the refrigerator. These are small rubber stops located at the back of the shelves. Allow the refrigerator and freezer to run empty for 2 – 3 hours to allow each compartment to cool to the appropriate temperature.
Moving or Storing Your Refrigerator EN If your refrigerator or freezer is turned off for any reason, wait 10 minutes before turning it back on. This will allow the refrigeration system pressures to equalise before restarting. Moving Your Refrigerator Turn off the appliance and unplug from the power point. Remove all food. Turn the adjustable feet to the right as far as they will turn (see page 6). Ease the refrigerator out of its position. Tuck the power cord away and tape the doors closed.
Active Smart™ Operating Instructions For information on the operation of the Ice & Water control panel please refer to the Ice & Water User Guide. Temperature Control When the refrigerator is first turned on, the powerful cooling system will automatically cool both refrigerator and freezer compartments to their set temperatures. This will take between 2 – 3 hours depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment.
Active Smart™ Operating Instructions EN Sabbath Mode To activate the Sabbath mode press the compartment select button on the temperature control panel for 10 seconds. When the Product is in Sabbath Mode: The light will not operate when the door is opened. The door alarm will not operate. The display will not be illuminated. Opening the door will not affect the compressor or fans.

Active Smart™ Special Features EN Fault Alarms If the electronic controller detects a fault from which it is unable to recover an alarm will sound. When the fresh food compartment door is opened a fault code (specific pattern of lights) will flash red and green on the Control panel to alert you to the fault. The audible alarm will stop when any button is pressed but the lights will remain flashing.
Cleaning Care – Interior/Exterior Interior It is important to keep the interior of the refrigerator and freezer clean to help prevent food from becoming contaminated during storage. The amount and types of food stored determines how often cleaning should be carried out (ideally once every 1 to 2 weeks) in the refrigerator. Remove the shelves from cabinet and door. Wash shelves and storage bins in warm water and detergent; rinse in clean water and dry before replacing.
Cleaning Care – Special Features EN To Remove Trays For ease of removal, empty food from tray/bin first. Hold the centre front of the tray/bin handle. Lift vertically to unclip from the runners and pull tray/bin towards you to remove. Push runners back into refrigerator. To Replace Trays With the runners pushed back into the refrigerator, place the tray/bin on top of the runners. Push the tray/bin back slowly until you feel it clip back onto the runners.
Cleaning Care – Special Features Humidity Control System Important Note: When cleaning the shelf above the vegetable bins, we recommend that you do not disassemble the Humidity Control System from the shelf. In the event that the plastic lid and humidity slides become separated from the glass shelf, follow these instructions to reassemble. 1 Turn shelf upside down 2 To attach humidity slides onto shelf front corners, fit bottom clips into shelf front trim.
Storing Food in Your Refrigerator EN Storing fresh, perishable foods in your refrigerator helps to extend storage times. The cold temperatures slow down the major causes of food spoilage – namely, the growth of bacteria, moulds and yeasts, and chemical and physical reactions. Fresh Food Care The quality of food before it is placed in the refrigerator is critical to successful storage. For best results: Select foods that are very fresh and of good quality.
Storing Food in Your Refrigerator Red Meat Place fresh red meat on a plate and loosely cover with waxed paper or plastic wrap or foil. Store cooked and raw meat on separate plates. This will prevent any juices lost from the raw meat from contaminating the cooked product. Delicatessan meats should be used within the recommended storage time. Poultry Fresh whole birds should be rinsed inside and out with cold running water. Dry and place on a plate. Cover loosely with plastic wrap or foil.
Storing Food in Your Freezer EN The use of temperatures of 0˚F (-18˚C) or colder to store food means that the food can be kept for longer periods than when refrigeration temperatures are used. This is because the growth of bacteria, moulds and yeasts are stopped, and chemical and physical reactions are severely restricted at very low temperatures. Frozen Food Care For best results: Choose only high quality foods that freeze well. Store at 0˚F (-18˚C) or colder.
Storing Food in Your Freezer Meat, Poultry and Game Do not try to freeze more than 22lb (1kg) meat per 0.9 cu.ft (25 L) freezer capacity. Meat must be frozen quickly in order to maintain its texture. Do not stuff poultry before freezing. Red meat can be cooked from frozen, or from the partly or completely thawed states. Remember to allow extra cooking time if cooking from frozen. Always thaw poultry completely before cooking. Fish Fish is best frozen commercially.

Lorsque vous ouvrirez la porte du réfrigérateur, un code de défectuosité (une série de lumières particulière) clignotera au panneau de contrôle pour vous alerter qu’il y a une anomalie. Vous pouvez arrêter l’alarme en appuyant sur n’importe quel bouton du panneau, mais les lumières continueront de clignoter.

Si le couvercle de plastique et les glissières d’humidité se séparent de la clayette en verre, suivez les instructions suivantes pour les remettre en place. Conservation des aliments au réfrigérateur L’entreposage d’aliments frais et périssables dans le réfrigérateur permet de prolonger leur conservation. Les températures froides ralentissent les principales causes de dégradation des aliments, entre autres, la prolifération de bactéries, de moisissures, de levures ainsi que des réactions chimiques et physiques. Conservation des aliments frais La qualité des aliments avant qu’ils soient mis dans le réfrigérateur est essentielle pour un bon entreposage.
Conservation des aliments au réfrigérateur La viande rouge Placez la viande rouge sur une assiette et couvrez-la d’un papier ciré, cellophane ou aluminium. Entreposez les viandes cuites et crues sur des assiettes différentes. Cette division empêchera les jus provenant des viandes crues de contaminer les produits cuits. La charcuterie doit être consommée avant la date de péremption. Volaille Il faut rincer à l’eau froide l’intérieur et l’extérieur des volailles fraîches. Séchez et placez sur une assiette.
Conservation des aliments au congélateur Les aliments entreposés à des températures égale ou inférieures à 0 °C peuvent être conservés plus longtemps qu’à des températures de réfrigération. Ce phénomène est possible puisque la prolifération de bactéries, de moisissures et de levures est interrompue et les températures très basses réduisent de manière importante les réactions chimiques et physiques.
Conservation des aliments au congélateur Viande, volaille et gibier Ne congelez pas plus d’un kilo de viande par 25 litres cubes de la capacité du congélateur. La viande doit être congelée très rapidement pour qu’elle garde sa texture. Ne farcissez pas les volailles avant de les congeler. La viande rouge peut être cuite lorsqu’elle est encore congelée, ou partiellement ou entièrement décongelée. Si vous faites cuire un morceau de viande congelé, laissez-le cuire plus longtemps.

Wall Mounted Hoods Installing the Ductwork To Roof Cap 0.4” 1. Plan where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. Arda hoods exhaust vertically up through the ceiling to the roof. They can be ducted to the rear behind the chimney duct through an outside wall. A short straight duct run will produce the most To Wall cap air flow. Length and elbows will reduce the efficiency of the blower. 2. Install a roof or wall cap.
Wall Mounted Hoods Fixing the Decorative Chimney Duct 1. Carefully losen but do not separate the telescopic chimney duct pieces. 2. Plug in the Hood. 3. Adjust the width of the support bracket to match the upper duct. Fix it to the ceiling using the screws provided (D) so that it is centred in line with your hood and at a distance from the ceiling indicated. 4. Attach the inside decorative chimney duct to the support bracket using provided screws (F). 5.

Island Mounted Hoods Installing the Duct Work 1. The mark on the ceiling made in the previous step will be where your 6” ducting will run through the ceiling. Around this point install cross bracing between the ceiling joists to support the weight of the hood. 2. Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. Short straight duct runs will provide the most air flow. 3. Arda Island Hoods exhaust vertically up through the ceiling to the roof.
Island Mounted Hoods 9. Attach 6” aluminum duct (not included) to the prepared duct work in the ceiling. Seal all seams. Fixing the Decorative Chimney Duct (c) Decorative Chimney duct 1. Carefully separate the telescopic chimney duct pieces. 2. Attach the inner piece of the decorative chimney to the top of the cage with screws provided (C). 3. Slide the outer piece of the decorative chimney on to the cage over the inner chimney and temporarily hold in place with two screws (D).
4. USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS Operation: 1. For optimum performance in removing cooking odours, it is recommended that you turn on your range hood prior to cooking and you leave it operating for 15 minutes after cooking. 2. Clean the surfaces of the range hood regularly using a non-abrasive detergent. 3. The anti-grease filters capture the grease particles suspended in the air. They will accumulate grease and dirt depending on the frequency of the use of your range/ cooktop. 4.

Control Functions Lighting: WARNING: Do not touch or change light bulbs while the hood is operating. Wait until the bulb has cooled before removing. Depending on your model of ARDA hood, there are three possible types of lighting. Incandescent , halogen and LED. The illumination is designed for use during cooking and not for prolonged general illumination of your kitchen. Prolonged use of the lights may reduce the life time of the bulbs.

Meat next to the tips of bones may overcook while meat positioned under a large bone, such as a ham bone, may be undercooked. Loosen or remove plastic wrap as recipe directs for stand time.

Introduction Thank you for buying a Fisher & Paykel Aerotech® oven. Now that it is installed and ready to use, you will want to know everything about it to make sure you get excellent results right from the start. This guide introduces you to all its features, as well as giving you a comprehensive set of cooking charts. We recommend you read the whole guide before using your new oven, for both safety and cooking success. For further information, go to www.fisherpaykel.
Safety and warnings This symbol alerts you to hazards such as fire, electrical shock, or other potential injuries. It also warns you of things that may cause damage to your oven. WARNING! Hot Surface Hazard Accessible parts will become hot when in use. Children should be kept away and care should be taken. Failure to do so could result in burns and scalds.
Use care when opening the oven door. Let hot air or steam escape before removing or replacing food. Do not heat unopened food containers. They can build up pressure that may cause the container to burst and result in injury. Always keep oven vent ducts unobstructed. Placement of oven racks: always position oven racks (shelves) in the desired location while oven is cool.
Location of features The diagram below shows you what features your oven has and where they are located (double oven model shown).
Setting the clock As your oven is connected to a power supply for the first time, a tone will sound and the clock display will light up. The clock display will show ‘0:00’ and the colon ( : ) will flash. Next, set the clock. Clock must be set before oven can be operated To set the clock The oven clock has a default 24 hour display. ‘0:00’ will be shown when the oven has been turned on at the wall and the colon will flash.
Oven displays Oven mode dial & display Turn clockwise to select your desired oven mode. When the mode is set, the lights and cooling fan will come on. Temperature dial & display Turn clockwise to select the oven temperature you want to cook at. The default setting for the temperature display is degrees Fahreheit. Refer to the ‘USER SELECT options’ for instructions on how to change the temperature display settings.
Oven modes Your Fisher & Paykel AeroTech® oven has nine cooking modes plus WARM and SELF CLEAN. These modes use different combinations of elements and the convection fan to give you maximum flexibility when cooking. TRUEAERO: convection fan plus fan element TRUEAERO is a very flexible method of cooking. A concealed heating element surrounding the fan in the rear of the oven heats air, which is then blown into the cavity.
WARM WARM is a constant low heat of 165 °F (75 °C). It is excellent for keeping cooked food hot and warming plates and serving dishes. To reheat food from cold, use TRUEAERO and change to WARM only when the food is piping hot, as this mode will not bring cold food up to a temperature high enough to kill any harmful bacteria. ROAST ROAST is a two-step program that has been developed to help you cook delicious roasts effortlessly.
SELF CLEAN This oven features a pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the mess and grime that is traditionally associated with oven cleaning. During self-clean cycles the oven reaches higher temperatures than it does for cooking and this burns off and breaks down soil and grease deposits. A smoke eliminator and active venting system eradicates odor. The ash residue that remains can simply be removed from the cool oven with a damp cloth or sponge.
Shelf positions Optilevel™ The Optilevel™ shelving system allows you to choose the optimum cooking level within the oven. Placing the shelves on or between the shelf support runners provides 13 cooking positions to choose from. Organize the shelves prior to heating the oven. Generally, the shelf positions located in the top of the oven are suitable for broiling. Shelves in the middle and lower region of the oven are suitable for baking, roasting and casseroles.
Accessories Three-piece broil/roast system The three-piece broil/roast system (made up of the pan, grid and rack) is designed to prevent hot fat and juices in the broil pan splattering throughout the oven. All pieces can be used together as one complete unit, or in different combinations. Glass tray (not supplied with all models) This is made of extremely tough glass and is perfect oven-to-tableware. The glass tray is great for all broiling and baking modes. Wash in hot soapy water or the dishwasher.
Using the oven controls In double ovens controls on the left are for the upper oven and controls on the right are for the lower oven. Pushing the oven cavity selector button lets you toggle between the oven cavities, for example if you are setting automatic programs.
Automatic cooking Automatic time cooking Automatic time (delayed start) cooking will turn the oven on and off at times you have set. To set automatic time cooking: 1 Check that the clock shows the correct time. 2 In double ovens, choose the upper or lower oven. This is important. 3 Select the oven mode and temperature. 4 Decide how long the food will take to cook, allowing time for preheating if necessary. 5 Press the COOK TIME PUSH TO CLEAR button to select this length of time.
During cooking, AUTO, COOK TIME and the remaining cook time will show in the clock display. The oven mode and temperature displays will be bright, and the oven light will be on. When the cook time is finished, the oven will beep and turn off. The oven and temperature displays will dim, and the oven light will go off. COOK TIME and AUTO will flash in the clock display. Turn the oven mode and temperature to OFF.
Oven operation d Cooking probe Use your cooking probe to accurately judge when your meat is perfectly cooked. The probe can be used on TRUEAERO, AEROBAKE, ROAST, AEROBROIL and BAKE modes. a b c Using the cooking probe 1 Select the oven mode and temperature and c preheat the oven if appropriate. The cooking probe can be used with automatic cooking functions. If the probe reaches the set temperature before the stop time is reached the probe will turn the oven off. The internal temperature of the meat will continue to rise by 5-15 °F (2-8 °C) after you have removed it from the oven so allow for this in your calculations. Important! Use only the cooking probe supplied with your AeroTech® oven.
Selecting the cooking time for your roast depends on your personal preference. Meat taken straight from the refrigerator will take longer to cook. Poultry should always be well cooked with the juices running clear. Roasting is a method of cooking meat that uses dry heat. Don’t add water to your roast as this has a steaming effect. Vegetables are excellent cooked on ROAST. Clean and cut them into large chunks, coat lightly with oil, season and place in a single layer on the greased glass tray.
Tips for successful broiling Position the oven shelves before you turn the oven on. To make cleaning the broil/roast system easier, spray the rack, grid and inside of the pan with a light coating of non-stick cooking spray before use. For best results allow the broil element to warm up for a minute or two before putting food in the oven. Use the timer to time the broiling process if desired. Keep the oven door closed. We recommend using the three-piece broil/roast system provided with your AeroTech® oven.
Dehydrating, and proofing bread Tips for dehydrating To obtain a high quality dried product, select only unblemished, mature fruit. Wash fruit thoroughly and pat dry. Peel if desired. Unpeeled fruit will take longer to dry. Remove stones, stems or pips if necessary. Place fruit on a baking tray on a shelf in the oven. We recommend using TRUEAERO or AEROBAKE at 125 °F (50 °C). USER SELECT options USER SELECT mode USER SELECT mode allows you to configure some of the settings displayed on your AeroTech® oven control panel. How to enter USER SELECT mode 1 Be sure that the oven mode and temperature dials are off, that no automatic/delayed start programs are operating and that the clock is displaying the correct time of day. 2 Press the then the button and hold down together until the oven ‘beeps’ (about two seconds). Tips for using Sabbath mode In double oven models, different temperatures can be selected for upper and lower ovens by using their temperature dials. The oven mode dial for the lower oven must be turned to a function to activate the lower oven. The oven can be turned off at any time during Sabbath mode by turning the oven mode and temperature dials to OFF, but the oven will not revert to regular operation until the set time has elapsed.

Control panel lock Locking the control panel disables all the buttons and dials which can be useful when cleaning oven surfaces or preventing accidental bumps and unauthorised use. The control panel can only be locked when the oven mode and temperature are OFF. To lock the control panel TO Press the PUSH button and hold down for five seconds. The LOCK symbol will appear in CLEAR the clock display. Repeat to unlock.

Cooking with ROAST, TRUEAERO, AEROBAKE, and AEROGRILL will take less time than with BAKE.
Cleaning WARNING! Hot Surface and Electrical Shock Hazard Make sure all oven controls are turned off and the oven is cool before cleaning. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or burns. Important! Do not use harsh/abrasive cleaning agents, waxes, pumice cleaners, polishes or commercial oven cleaners to clean your oven.
Cleaning the porcelain enamelled surfaces The oven interior and inner door liners are porcelain enamelled and are cleaned during the selfclean cycle. Important! Do not use any oven cleaners, oven cleaning products or abrasives on the porcelain enamel. Do not clean the door seal (gasket) or cavity seal or use any oven cleaning products on them. They are essential for a good seal and the efficient operation of the oven and care should be taken not to rub, damage or move the seals.
SELF CLEAN mode This oven features a pyrolytic self-clean cycle. During a self-clean cycle the oven reaches higher temperatures than it does for cooking and this burns off and breaks down soil and grease deposits. A smoke eliminator and active venting system removes and breaks down the smoke, fumes and odors. The ash residue that remains is easily removed from the cool oven with a small brush and a damp cloth or sponge. A self-clean cycle normally takes about three hours.
Using the SELF CLEAN mode 1 Remove oven shelves, shelf supports (see ‘Cleaning’) and all other cookware/utensils from the oven before using the SELF CLEAN mode. 2 Select the SELF CLEAN mode by turning the oven mode dial. 3 Turn the temperature dial to its maximum position. will appear in the display and this will change to when the cycle begins. Troubleshooting Fault codes If there is a fault, the oven will beep every second, and a fault code will appear in the clock display as a letter ‘F’ with a number after it. Important! Do not turn off the main power supply to the oven if you get a fault code. The fans are needed to cool the oven. For safety, this oven is designed to self-cool. Turning off the power while the oven is hot may damage the oven and its surrounding cabinetry. If you get a fault code: 1 Note the fault code.

Maintenance WARNING! Electrical Shock Hazard Ensure the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp/light bulb. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock. How to change the oven light bulbs The oven is illuminated by three 12 volt/20 watt halogen bulbs. These have a very long life, but if you should need to replace one, follow these steps: 1 Turn the oven off and allow it to cool.

2. DISHWASHER CONNECTION If you are utilizing a dishwasher, complete the following procedure. If dishwasher is not to be connected go on to section 3. A. Using a blunt instrument (steel punch or wooden dowel), knock out entire plug (see 2A). Do not use a screwdriver or sharp instrument. When knockout plug falls into disposer, you may remove it or simply grind it up when the disposer is used. This will not damage the disposer in any way, but may take some time to grind, over the course of several uses.

DO NOT move or rotate the sink flange once seated or the seal may be broken. Take the remaining portion of the mount assembly, as it was set aside and make sure that the rubber gasket is on top of the protector ring.
EZ Mount System (continued) H. Place mount ring over sink flange and hold in place while installing cushion mount (large side down) so the groove on the inside of cushion mount fits over lip on sink flange, similar to putting the lid on a plastic container (see 3G, 3H & 3J). Please read important notice below.
4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS A. B. C. Connect disposer to 110-120 Volt, 60 Hz AC current only. If plug-in cord is used, use a three prong plug (see 4A). Ground wire should be attached to the ground screw in the bottom of the end bell (see 4B). Use a cable clamp strain relief connector where power cord enters the disposer (see 4C). Trace lead connected to this blade and attach that lead to white wire on disposer.
6. CONNECTING DISPOSER TO MOUNT ASSEMBLY (continued) EZ MOUNT (See section 3 for your mount type.) A. Line up disposer under mounting assembly. Guide hopper projections into mount ring slots. Turn mount ring about 1/4” to right so that disposer is temporarily supported (see 6C). B. Turn mount ring and disposer until disposer elbow lines up with trap (see 6D). C. Turn mount ring to the right (counter-clockwise) until it locks up tight.
8. TROUBLESHOOTING Before seeking repair or replacement, we recommend that you review the following: LOUD NOISES: (Other than those during grinding of small bones and fruit pits): These are usually caused by accidental entry of a spoon, bottle cap or other foreign object. To correct this, turn off electrical switch and water. After disposer has stopped, remove *splash guard, remove object with long handled tongs, and replace *splash guard.
