HOW TO SET THE PRESENT TIME DEFROSTING OF OUTDOOR UNIT HEAT EXCHANGER 1. Press the button ST three times. The time indication alone flashes. 2. AIR filter OPERATION WITHOUT THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT The air filter should be cleaned at least once every six months or more frequently; it depends on the real operation conditions. If you have lost the remote control unit or it has troubles, follow the steps below. 1. When the air conditioner is stopped If you want to turn on the air conditioner push the OPERATION selector with a pen to select the desired mode (COOL or HEAT). 1. Remedy: 1. Restore power. 2. Contact service centre. 3. Press the button again. 4. Replace batteries. TIPS FOR ENERGY SAVING DO NOT: l Block the air intake and outlet of the unit. If they are obstructed, the unit will not work well, and may be damaged. l Let direct sunlight into the room.

EXPLANATION AND USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT’S MICROSWITCHES EG Switch 1 and 2: These switches are used to match the remote control with the specific internal units. Switch 3 and 4: these switches have been provided for future use; they have no function today. Keep them in OFF position. Switch 5 and 6: these switches set the remote control in WIRELESS or WIRED mode. Default position is ON (WIRELESS mode). For WIRED control, remove the batteries and set in OFF position.
