10. Slide the brake disc from the output shaft and free of the transmission. Photo 90
11. Perform the servicing procedure, Brake Disc Inspection.
Installing the Steering Brake Disc (HDi)
12. Apply anti-sieze compound to the splined output shaft and install the Steering Brake
Disc securely up against the shoulder of the output shaft. Photo 91
NOTE
Use brake cleaner on components before re-assembly to remove oil and other contaminants.
IMPORTANT
The brake disc should slide on by hand. Do NOT force or hammer to install.
13. Install the Steering Brake Caliper. Spread the brake pads apart as you slide it over the
brake disc. Photo 92
